So today we had our Interim presentation where we showed the class our illustrated mock up of our pitch bible. It was really helpful and we got quite a bit of feedback which will help in moving forward in this project. This is the presentation printed out below where Tanya drew on it as visual feedback after too. For the cover page the feedback was mostly for the Nazi's. They don't look angry enough and their hand and arm positioning looks like they are just gently holding the canvas. The composition itself is very dynamic and full of adventure and is well done but maybe look at putting Cecilia in their somewhere too. For the Intro page Tanya says the castle is really beautiful but looks too nice for a place thats been invaded by nazis. and play with the text and composition more on that page. some people also question the use of the Nazi sticker being illegal but we looked into that and in all games and movies that involve nazis use the actual Nazi stamp as historical context.

The character page was an interesting composition but the characters should be interacting more and again Cecilia is not there. In terms of character design, Ludovico's body doesn't look anatomically correct and suggested going back and looking at ermines for their anatomy. The Nazi's also look a bit awkward and look too British and leaning towards a popeye feel. So look at existing Nazi character design and cartoons for reference. For the worlds page just readjust text and think about how the two pages could interact more. This spread is still being worked on so we showed Tanya and Will our ideas and she like the idea of a visual portal.

Gameplay

For the gameplay page again refining the text and and layout and also to think about objects sprites and interfaces that the game involoves for this spread. The room and backgrounds look really cool and the warped furniture adds a cool playful style to the game.
Overall Tanya, Will and The team are happy with where we're at and we will develop from this feedback and keep pushing our illustrations and ideas forward and start looking at refining this pitch bible.
